Born in the suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri, and currently living & working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Davies is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores themes of lightness, freedom & flight.

With a background in Scientific Illustration from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Steph Davies blends meticulous observation with a deep personal connection to nature, particularly through the symbolism of birds and their boundless movement in the sky.

Since 2008, Davies has been creating under the brand name "Dear Darlington" offering a range of hand-painted brass jewelry and original illustrative works on wood. Using ink & acrylic, Steph Davies captures the delicate beauty of birds in flight, emphasizing texture and meditative line work. The creative process is an essential part of the artist's practice, serving as both a personal meditation and a way to connect deeply with the natural world.
